Have you got a threadless headset and headset spacers too? Otherwise it won't work. You could cut the fork but you still need a threadless headset

Actually if it's not a baby SCS it'll work fine, phoenix forks are sized for baby scs', so in the normal SCS + Madd gear headtube it should work just as a regular fork in a regular headtube would.

but i might be wrong.

Well he mentioned his fork and compression but not a headset, alot of people make the mistake of not getting a threadless headset.

yeah, you would have to drill it out, but you can run an ICS bolt thru the fork, and screw a nut onto the bolt, ontop of the compression cap.
thats the way i would do it,
