Yeah I pretty much agree with you there, I just don't want to spend the money on anything else and they're working great for me, so no need for change there.

its ugly as sin, but it works
I modded the front a bit, normally it's a square but I chopped it so they taper up to the neck.
I did, the wheel was barely touching. My wheels were fairly new and actually 110 mm when I put em on, so maybe your friends were worn down a bit? Idk, now it works perfectly without a crazy amount of modding.
