Well the whole point was grinding with the plate, why would you not use it? It was the only innovation.

After a time the plate doesn't slide good anymore...

What did people think of the plastic based ao deck? I never tried one but was it a good idea?

They're pretty damn heavy, but you can grind the most unwaxed ledge ever and still slide as if it was overwaxed haha

Shit was crazy heavy and honestly felt odd (to me) on rails but it was rad for feebles and smiths and 50/50s. But it did its job great, you could slide for days and rarely have to wax most obstacles.

I always thought the Epsilon decks were hella light, rode my mates once and it didn't feel heavy whatsoever. The deck plate is just a bad idea though, it was too slippery for waxed ledges and rails. It's a better idea to just use wax and ride a TSI if you like grinds.
