Its imposible on that setup to put the lenshood on without seeing it in the shot, so shut up :)

Hmm how about sounds of wheels hitting ramps, griding, feet catching whips. hands grabbing barspins, sounds of impact from drops ect... detailed shit that will add to the video. If you want your video to be boring without natural sound be my guest, don't rag on other people because they put some thought into their work.

The Opteka lenshoods show up in the shots sometimes, theres nothing you can do about it but mod it. Some kind of manufacturing error. Read about it.

VX1000 is old as fuck. I can get 1000x better colors on my DVX and theres nothing real special about the audio, it gets nice pops for skateboards and thats about it.

btw, 5 days with the new camcorder and i already have a job on friday. recording a rangers ceremony. i guess that mic comes in handy after all huh? im soooo stoked on this.

it doesnt matter if a camera is old, if you know how to use it to its potential its going to work great. if you think that vx100 colors aren't better then you havent seen any good vx videos.

IF someone made that it would probably give you more manual control, xlr ports, better viewfinder, and better mic.

Is sony handycam video8 XR ccd-tr415E any good? My fisheye is just right side for it and i can get the video to computer. Looks pretty nice actually. The camera is from ´99. It has only viewfinder but i dont care.
