your stance on big or small bars.

I think that the differences are what makes scootering unique. With bikes there's a bit of a difference in bar size, frames are different but all look the same, with skateboards they're all exactly the same save for width and concave, but with scootering there's so many different styles of parts, whether it's 3 piece bars, crow-style bars, T bars, etc, all different heights and widths, I really enjoy seeing a group of people riding completely different setups. I don't want there to be just one standard size that everyone accepts.

they all have the same looking parts because thats the strongest design,
crow style bars are 20x stronger than t bars, thats why their catching on, soon everything will look the same, like bikes.

People on here are too cool to go with what's strongest, they have to be rebels and try as hard as possible not to be trendy. In the end, making them trend whores as well because they base their decisions off of what other people say. Crows are dying out because of this, unfortunately, no matter how strong they are.

-small bump- i think that narower bars make most tricks easier but wider bars flow better. lower bars are better for tricks, and higher bars are more flowy as well. i like 20h x 16w for me no bacsweep

Ive gone from 13 to 15 to 17 and finally to 20 with backsweep. I found that barspin combos were easiest when I had 17 wide. I really enjoy the feel of flowing with 20 wide. It really all depends on your preference.

it depends on how wide your shoulders are. if your shoulders are 14 inches wide, and you ride 20+ wide then thats too wide and looks stupid. but if they are like 18 wide and you ride 14 wide then it also looks stupid. any wider then 20 and you're just being trendy (unless your shoulders are wider then 20 inches)

i ride 16 wide, a half inch smaller than my shoulder width, it feels perfect.

my friend rides 23 wide.He can truck flat with it..
I like 20 the best

I'd say withing two inches of your shoulder width either way.
Anything bigger or smaller is probably too big or small.

but ride what you like!
