i think they are a good company the offer good parts for the price they are at.

you can also post pics of your district parts here. broken, new or whatever condition.

I feel like District could've started out with a better "Rep". But, they are correcting they're mistakes and starting to become super legit.

Theyre my favorite company, have my favorite riders, and make my favorite parts.

I never really had a positive outlook on District. Even though Marcel has put together a solid team, the decks weren't really something I was too fond of. Being a 6'0", 175 lb. guy, every time I hopped on one for a while I would break it in a matter of weeks. Riding with Ryan Upchurch almost daily when he was on District, I saw him go through decks like it was nothing. But although everything has been getting straightened out from the v1 to the v2i, and I hope that all of the flaws are found and taken care of.

I wish they would weld it through the deck.
and ... Benj is my hero.

hate the ugly graphics on the v2i though.

its actually better than going through the deck as there is no weak point on the bottom(only valid for the v2i with that extended gooseneck). i thought the same but after some research, found out it is far better. every deck that is welded through, breaks where it is welded. doesnt that tell you something?

The increased surface area for the welds seem to be doing a heap of good for the V2is, they're now strong enough to bananna before breaking.

v2i best deck i've ever ridden, monkey fucks shit up as well as ostrom, pretty cheap as far as scooter parts go

I work in a scooter shop where I fix scooters and the starnuts in the District bars are the worst shit ever. The bolt locks to the fork so you can't get it of. Then you will have to cut the fork of and install a new starnut. The forks bend so easy. They are really bad. And the grips gets destroyed so easy. Even Eagles lost quality, after they chose a cheaper design, so they just gets destroyed even faster. And the bolts!! Like WTF is going on! I love the deck. I really love it!! But the other parts... They have to work on them. A lot.

^ HA.

Never ridden a district part, never plan on it. I was considering a dk-2 for a bit because it's long but I don't even like light decks that much, I'd rather have a deck that's gonna last than be able to do flippy whippy do tricks.

I'm currently riding a v2i and i actually really like it. Its great for grinds and its only like 2 ounces lighter than than a phoenix. Ive done some pretty big shit with it and theres nothing wrong it.

The graphics are water-pressed. Basically means they're impossible to take off unless you sand them off, scratching your paint underneath.
