haha I don't know about them working on a Mac, but all I know is that they really aren't great.

I have an iPhone and an iPod nano but neither of them can hold all of my songs and my local toys r us (lol) is having a huge thanksgiving sale and the 30 gb zune will be $70 so it's a good deal but idk if I can use them with a mac

I don't think they work on Macs, cause I got one. I didn't even try though, I just set it up on my PC.

zune's should work on any system, just not with itunes, obviously.

zune > ipod

I just saw a video it said pc only but I'll try to download the zune software tomorrow anyways because I think that's the pc only part but I'm not sure

It's pretty shitty. Last I remember, you either got three plays before it disappeared or three days, but now I think it's only three plays.

if you can't normally on a mac, just run a windows emulator.
