Since I basically broke my foot last friday these are all I've been physically capable of doing and they are fuuuuun. I can hold them for like 8 feet in my garage and about five coming into my driveway down my hill.

great vid alex!! learnt them in like 4 tryes :L there alot of fun deffenetly gonna try and get them dialed now so there long, the mannual ones look sick but never gonna get them :L

I feel like I'll have to try this with my old sliders when I get bored over the summer... but I don't really feel as though its too intelligent to make it a habit. The price of a new wheel every time I feel like doing a power slide seems steep. Sorry to be the voice of reality here crashing down upon this "hooray for powerslides!!1!!1" party like a wingless pterodactyl of scooter wheel death.

Sick vid though. I laughed.

You actually can do Powerslides wothout shredding your wheel up too much if you learn how to do them right. I've been doing them for over four years now. You DO have to watch out when doing them in summer on hot blacktop though! Man, you do! It's worth it though. If you have plastic cored wheels it is wise to epoxy the core to the urethane. You can find epoxy that's 2000 pounds per square inch of strength.

Just get weight off of your back wheel by leaning forward and get it to break loose. To everyone who said flat spots, they don't happen. As long as your brake isn't on your wheel it will spin and slide evenly on the whole wheel. I actually had a flat spot and smoothed it out with powerslides.

Accidentally learned these while riding home in the rain one day. Took a whole corner doing a completely sideways backside slide at speed. Scariest thing I've probably ever done on a scooter. Plus, the worn as hell UP wheels didn't help with grip.

This is so true, I literally powerslid the urethane clear off of an Old A wheel on hot blacktop infront of my house, it almost instantly dehubbed.

I know this is kinda like dead, but we were dicking around with these last night on some really smooth pavement, and basically we figured out that Eagles slide out easier and are easier to hold in the powerslide than RUP wheels. I'd think the opposite, cuz the RUP wheels are harder. Does anyone know why?

Ultra pro wheels are really thin, maybe it catches or something.

And where is this weeks tuesday tip?
