just get weight off of your back wheel by leaning forward and get it to break loose. To everyone who said flat spots, they don't happen. As long as your brake isn't on your wheel it will spin and slide evenly on the whole wheel. i actually had a flat spot and smoothed it out with powerslides.
You actually can do Powerslides wothout shredding your wheel up too much if you learn how to do them right. I've been doing them for over four years now. You DO have to watch out when doing them in summer on hot blacktop though! Man, you do! It's worth it though. If you have plastic cored wheels it is wise to epoxy the core to the urethane. You can find epoxy that's 2000 pounds per square inch of strength.
