i did reserch on carbon fiber and the strongest kinda tube i could buy only withstands 80 pounds im not gonna do this iam just gonna buy a reventon and when i need the deck wider ill just add a lil carbon fiber to the ends

the dumbest kid Here? I'm making a carbon fiber deckplate for my tsi. But if that fails, I'll cut out a deckate from aluminum

Add carbon fiber to an aluminum deck? How would that work. You can bolt it but it would break VERY easily

And carbon fibre is also very flexible, making it probably ride like crap.

Carbon fiber is the opposite it is extremely brittle causing cracking to occur without proper suspension/impact support please know your facts

well your right carbon wouldnt be very good but iam looking for very verylight metal what metal would be good my grandpa is great with metals he built parts for a 58 chevy vette
