VertX Marconi Deck

So I just got this prototype for my signature deck from VertX.

The name isn't final, so don't worry about that haha.

It's got all flat sides, so it's really good for fingerwhips.

The deck weighs 2.18 pounds, without a headtube. I'm assuming the headtube is about .75 pounds, so the deck should be just under 3 pounds.

The sides make is amazing for 50/50s.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but the deck actually incorporates VertX's I-Beam technology. The width of the deck on the bottom actually makes the deck extremely stable on rails. It's ridiculous. You don't have to worry about balancing at all, it just stays perfectly on the rail.

Let me know what you guys think, or any ideas you guys might have for it.

No concave I believe.
I'm not liking the rounded drop outs, but other than that it looks alright.

I honestly think this whole trend of boxed sides is getting crazy.. We never had problems before with grinding.. or fingerwhips. Why now?

It's not necessarily that there was a problem that needed to be fixed that resulted in boxed sides, it just makes things easier.

i would like boxed sides, a full flat bottom and squared drop outs so i can do 5-0's or icepicks without no damn pegs.

in other news your deck looks super sick man, i would be so stoked to be getting a pro model, it must feel incredible.

because back then we were all riding razor pro decks that weighed like 2 pounds and most decks nowadays are like 2.5-4 pounds so it kinda messes up your fingers more with having the rounded dropouts on the heavier deck then it did back then with the light ass razor pros.
EDIT: the marconi deck is really nice however i think it would look better with boxed edges.

You can put different headtubes on, so I suppose it would vary depending upon which one you put on.
