buy chromoly ones from me but really, get some 1/8" thick 3/4" wide steel strip from the hardware store, cut it into two 20" long strips, carefully mark where the holes go, make sure they are in the right place, drill the holes, cut a bit of the front off at an angle.

scrub them, then let them soak in soapy water overnight. or get some sort of rubber cleaner. grips get nasty like that, its really hard if not impossible to clean them. thats why most grips are black.

a bunch of people have made them, i made a pretty gnar working prototype with bike parts and scrap, but i broke it and scavenged the parts. i think i'm going to make a real good one though, maybe sell kit things.
