La Jolla cove has probably the clearest water around here but you'll need a wet suit probably full suit for that time of year. There is some decent stuff there though cause it is a protected wildlife refuge. Do you have an underwater housing?

Yea they were pricey. I can't really go into detail about my designs at the moment but I can tell you that they are they are superior. They are tried and true and the deck I am riding now is from 2006. I should be releasing details and pictures of everything before the end of the year I guess...

You would love the Salton Sea... it is a good photo opp. It is basically a ghost town from the 1940's and there are actually a few empty pools out there but the pool we rode last year is at Pala which is a lot closer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salton_Sea
