The threads are really fine and they do strip easy, but if you grease them regularly they should be okay. But I maintained mine, and the threads of the actual clamp (not the bolts) completely stripped.

If you order the whole deck together, it comes machine tightened. That bolt's not going anywhere, trust me. And as long as you have the washer between the deck and the bolt it will stay super tight! I've had times where I got it with the brake installed, others without it in. But the brake is...
