Out of curiosity, why do you want the starnut to be removable? Doesn't someone make a fork with integrated starnuts? What I would like to do is just weld a nut to the inside Of the fork and never deal with a starnut again.

I'm not going to tell you where to spend your money. But I believe it would be of best interest. Work your way into better parts.

A lot of places are out. My brother wanted Eagles with purple urethane and solid cores and EVERYWHERE was out of stock. What hardness do you prefer?

How about the steel district bars? Do you know sizes on those?
