Mine look fine, other than at the back of the neck some welds are bigger than others, resulting in an uneven looking downtube but other than that you wouldn't know. Easily razor quality...

I think it would work fine, but then there is the disadvantage that you can't use the fork on any other deck but MGPs, and not even them in a while cause they are all changing to normal headtubes... I kinda wanna know the same thing cause cause headtube spacers ruin it :(
