Definetly get a stricker, the design is a brilliant way to stop the legs from bending, and the steertube is one piece chromoly like Alex said--they are hella dialed.

I love Proto so much!!! I'm digging my tanks and the new wheels and forks and scs, I just love everything :D My back wheel is worn down a wee bit already though, should I worry about it wearing down a ton from manuals and stuff?

It's like playing guitar! You learn songs and solo to learn licks and riffs! Then you change em around a'lil bit and get your style of playing! You learn tricks and watch other riders that are better than you and do what they do until you find what you like and what you want to be!
