I cut my old ultra pro fork and warped around once with masking tape to make it stay in the bars. Didn't have to hammer it in just put some pressure on it and it went in nice and snug. Its been in there for a couple of months and I'm having no problems. Bars don't rotate, no cracks, I don't have...

Put a spacer under the brake in the 2nd hole. The one furthest from the brake. It will tilt the brake up and should fit.

I thought it would make your fork a lot weaker too. I rode an addict fork with spacers and snapped it in a month and I'm a clean rider and mostly ride ledges so either the fork sucked or it was the headset spacers. Why do you need so many headset spacers? What are you running?
