yes it really does, without spacers i exploded(no joke) 4 bearings in less than a week, and the more you tighten the bolt, the slower the wheel gets with spacers i can tighten the hell outta my bolts and my wheels still spin for a minute, bearings dont explode, way better choice

if ur not using a locknut, use one, tighten the headset so its really tight, so when it loosens, itll be as loose as you want it

stretch the clamp a bit, get the shims and wrap them really tight on your bars, then use sum scotch tape to make sure the shims dont undo, then insert ur bars

ohh baby scs, try some soda can shims, it should work

yea, u need a shim, you can get a tube of metal with: outer diameter of 1 3/8" inner diameter of 1 1/4" thats the size of the shim u need :)
