I'm fairly sure ulminium is stronger weight for weight than steel meaning that to have a chromo deck on similar size would mean that it would weigh a lot more. On the other hand a really chunky carbonfibre deck seems legit, at 4 times the strength of steel weight for weight that could be cool...

I used to ride 18h when i was 5 ft 11/6ft but it was a bit small, i ride roughly 20.5 high in scs (18.5 h/out scs but add 2 inches). also with steeper ht angle bars feel higher imo

i've heard yaks mechanics are good but i dot really know exactly how good they are, the demon cores look fairly good and are real cheap, i wish they had sz in the uk.

any vertx decks/headtubes (including razor stem) broken yet? just curious and is it just me or are the razor stems + headtubes better than lucky ones?

i have made the flex fender out of mild steel and it is fine except for the fact that when i shape it it bends down a little closer to the wheel than i would like for manuals, is there anyway to fix this as in to keep a few more mm between the wheel and the brake

you can cut off the cap and the new districtt forks fk-2 i think are 1 peice

Maybe if you use 2 locknuts or you could get ics as it can work well with threaded forks

brakeless manuals are like 10x worse i think as its harder to stop manualing over, i used to do them but then learnt that using a brake just helps a load and is often cleaner for me
