Its not the same as threaded, thats why bikes have it. It doesnt weaken the forktube because theres no threads where the clamp would clamp onto

This is a little off topic, but since you seem to know HIC, how do I stop my Bars from going out of line? Ive tried taping the shim but it doesnt do anything. I tighten the clamp to hell but its not working
