Jon Reyes and Alex Steadman both do them without their foot above the brake most of the time and they're pretty much the best at fakie manuals. That's how I do them too, and I'm not very good at them yet but I feel better with my foot away from the brake just incase.

Wow, haven't seen Stackies in forever. Great stuff man, you've got your trick game on lockdown and you rode with pretty nice speed the whole time. I liked it. Bring in some more grinds and whatnot with those awesome tricks and you'd be a legend haha.
