i dont think riding two dub clamps would change anything... cept look like crap.

well it has a slit for a quad clamp and riding a double clamp is leaving an area of the slit open thus causing a weak point in the bars thus causing them to bend.

the fork tube isnt tall enough to have a quad clamp. Since the fork isnt there that just creates a week spot which can later snap. I'm pretty sure thats how it works, a pair of inwards broke that way...

your wrong. yes you can. why cant you reinforece it on the out side.

if the bars are bend, do this. get a piece e metal .065 thickness chromoly is best. do this

it will be about 1.375 OD after the shim is put on. then strech your clam. and your all good.
