Best shoes to buy for scootering?!!

I've had stress fractures in my shins and i feel impact on my feet and shins really bad on my landings and vans and emerica hsu"s arent doing me any good. what shoes can i get with a thick sole that will absorb impact and make my landings less painful?

I have had great luck with Gravis. You just gotta find them on sale; I don't spend over $30 on shoes because I'm Dutch... Whiskey Militia has had tons of Gravis kicks for like 70-80% off lately. I always ride in high tops too.
