Deff save up for DSLR, You wont regret it. It's gonna be expensive at first though. But if you realy don't wanna go to slr's, Panasonic GS320 babydeath. Great cheap setup if you don't mind tapes

All the canon Vixia camera's are good for beginners. Definitely don't get a DSLR, the audio sucks, the battery sucks, they overheat, a good dslr setup is going to be easily over $1000.

If 720p is all you know about those cameras then you're pretty clueless.

Moved this to the video section.

Look for a camera online that's 1080p, has a large sensor, good manual settings, and good audio settings.

well the kid asking obviously doesnt know about dslr stuff so i told him what the vid resolution was as a reference, personally i like the pentax better because it has the fastest shutter speed, widest iso range and best lens compatability (as far as old lenses and in genearal almost all pentax lenses work on that body and there adapters are cheap), faster burst fps but that kkinda goes with the shutter speed as i said earlier. the d5000 is the cheapest but its refurbished although i dont know much on what that would mean condition wise, the t1i has the largest sensor size which alot of people argue is what matters, the t1i also does 1080p unlike all of the others i posted, the t3's manual controls are a little odd as i dont see the shutter speed controller anywhere on the body which im assuming its in the cameras menu which would be a pain to change fast.

sorry brock but i hated the video i saw from that, just like i dont really get why everyone creams themselves over vx's, especially 1k's, its like ya there great in lowlight and the colors are nice but all the vids i see done with a 1k are all pixelated and kinda choppy. also, GET BACK TO YOUR ARTWORRRRRK, you totally left us on a cliffhanger
