Dipped 5. Not a flatspin. A flat spin is when your body is completely sideways (parellel to the coping) and you are doing a backflip motion. Your body in a flatspin is FLAT, hence the name. That's more like a dipped as f*ck 540, cause your throwing your shoulder down and making more of a barrel roll motion.

This debate happens in skiing all day, the difference between cork, rodeo, d-spin...it will never end.

Id say it's more of a dipped five. In a flatspin, the rider always faces the direction he's spinning, here Ryan is spinning mostly sideways (if you don't understand, watch Chad Kagy's flatspin stuff to see the diference). This is how some bikers do flairs. If you did it frontside you could call it a rodeo in skateboard terms. Anyway, no matter how we call it, this is still a huge contribution in scooter trick progress, new off axis rotations are something Ive been waiting for for a long time.
