Oven cleaner doesn't work with paint/powdercoat, only anodize. Just use paint stripper and sandpaper and then use some fine sandpaper at the end to give it a good finish, also for a good finish only sand in the one direction.

airplane paint remover or gasket remover makes powder coat bubble and come off with just a puddy knife or screw driver, you can get em at any auto parts store.

Sanding sound good and easy

Btw how do I change my title for this thread

Not true. The paintstripper method is wayyy easier and less time consuming. Literally its like spraypaint. Spray it on, go do something else for 5 minutes, come back and then it should be all bubbled up and cracked and very easy to scrape off

What works really good after you use paint stripper that I did with my DH frame, was use a pressure washer after so you don't burn your hands getting it off, Sprays right off.

Am I going to be the only one to point out how this kid completely failed in making the title of this thread?
