a lot, and you will need a compression bolt aswell as the starnut.Tdadd said:And for compression systems, I have a starnut already. Is the SR compression system better than the inward scooters one?
For sure it is. Inward's one requires that you'd drill two holes into your lower part of the bars, which will make the bars weaker. But SR's require that you would only install the starnut into the bars and it doesn't make the bars weaker at stressful points.Tdadd said:And for compression systems, I have a starnut already. Tdadd said:the compression system shit sounds really annoying. Do I need anything specific if I just get a threaded fork? Will the threaded fork work with C4 bars? Also, when will the proto 110mm wheels be back in stock?
here is your answer dudeTdadd said:the compression system shit sounds really annoying. Do I need anything specific if I just get a threaded fork? Will the threaded fork work with C4 bars? Also, when will the proto 110mm wheels be back in stock?
C4 Bars, wrong section, not too much heavier than stock.Tdadd said:Alright, so far I'm going
-Inward .120/threaded/offset fork
-Q4 Bars (unless someone has a different suggestion)
-Waiting for the 110m proto's to be back in stock
BTW, does this sound like a really heavy setup

get a 1.20 threaded fork, with offset. zero offset forks suck, and they make nose manuals harder (for me at least)
Threadless is only better if you have a compression system, and if the forktube you plan on getting is on the thin side. if you get a 1.20 threaded fork, you wont break it.
