Dear companies, I know this sounds crazy...

I would much rather buy from an honest company like tsi, than a shady company lik phoenix... unless there was a hugeeeeeee gap in quality

it costs about 6-7 bucks to make a phoenix, (meaning extrusion)

prolly around 20 for an scs

prolly 10 - 20 for rad crows

and you wanna know what?

80 for a tsi deck.

notice the difference??

nahh rads cost more, they use the best metal you can get

you guys aren't taken into consideration the coverage for shipping costs, manufacturing costs, paying for gas, welding, polyurethane rent for their building, paying for riders flights to comps, etc. Plus companies like phoniex pay some of their riders like chris.

also you have to keep in mind that scooters aren't SUPER popular, so the demand isnt high. that means what now? higher prices because they have to produce them in lower quantities.

They don't HAVE to make them in lower quantities. Rad could order a mass production of crows, let's say 1000 bars. They wouldn't have to make any more for a looooong time, and they could sell th cheaper, since ordering metal for 1000 is way cheaper than for 50.

Once scootering is bigger, everything will be sold for a much cheaper price. Although, quality will go down, as well as the quality of customer service. We are very lucky to have legitimate companies that will replace our parts without the hassle, but once scootering is bigger, that will be a thing of the past.

this is a response to rob's original post...

this is a bullshit thread. companies put their logos on their parts for marketing, and so people know what the fuck it is. i like logos on parts, i wouldnt want parts with no branding at all. it looks way more professional, and its a step up in the scooter industry. i think its absolutely necessary for companies to put some type of logo on the parts they make.

I want the New Flight Deck to have sick looking Decals on the Down Tube and Head Tube (not just letters). But I need some Help with the Designs... I want something that has some futuristic aspects to it. Not just something that's hard to read. Ya Digg??? :)

you kids complaining about prices being too high? they're that high because kids like you are willing to buy them for that price. high school supply and demand economics, you want the price to drop, stop demanding the product.

disagree. that stuff is what sets companies parts away from the rest. it would suck haveing all parts look exsactly the same. but it is entirely up to the companies on what they do to there parts.

As long as you don't go as far with "futuristic aspects" as the Black Eyed Peas.
