I just looked back a few pages and the majority of comments are pretty much

Cant tell if its sarcasm or not. Dubstep is about a minimal dub influence, dark atmosphere, passion, sub bass, detailed beat, structure and rhytm. wich the new producers dont have, at all.

Lets take this as a example, notice the dates.

2006: Pioneers of the scene named DMZ released Anti War Dub. It was a huge hit with all the elements of dubstep packed into 6 minutes and 22 seconds.

2010: Producer Skrillex moved from emo rock to dubstep, getting famous through Youtube and Released ''Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites'', This song has pretty much absolutely no element at all. The song starts with a simple melody/Build up. 40 seconds later it transforms a unstructured disaster with a Simple beat (1kick1snare8pattern) followed by randomly placed wobbles, that almost sounds like... fart noises (?). This disaster has 34 million views, while pioneers and founders of Dubstep has max 1 Million views (!).

Normal Dubstep: Consisting of grimey basslines, a regular drum beat, and often samples.

Examples: Caspa, Rusko, Benga Etc.

Deep Dubstep: A basic version of dubstep with a simple beat, that includes very minimal basslines.

PopDub: R&B/Pop songs made with a wobbly bassline or beat.

Examples: Magnetic Man, Katy B

first off, i didnt copy from wikipedia. i own the vinyl since a year back. and saying that Digital Mystikz* is ''boring, or what ever'' is just so funny.

the newer broish generation of dubstep has a amazing ignorant attitude, wich i can see here already. the thread i made had a few posts untill you decided you lock it, then you said.

isnt this forum section about offtopic, music and opinions? then why does every genre need one thread, have you noticed youre the only admin who keeps locking threads in this section? its like locking someones opinion. theres hundreds of ''whos your favourite scooter rider'' threads in general section and they dont get locked, btw the last comment worked out great.
