if you have all of the perks selected on the smithing tree then you can upgrade any armor to legendary.

and your still wrong, i looked it up and skills cant go past 100 no matter what. the percentage might be higher but technically your only fortifying the +__%, not the actual skill level. just semantics i guess...

First off, I have every smithing perk and I could upgrade any armor I could make to Legendary. But you can't make special items such as the Thieves Guild armor, Ebony Mail, Mace of Molag Bal, etc. I didn't mean Daedric items as in Daedric Swords and other things you can make, I was referring to one-off items you can only obtain through certain quests. You cannot upgrade these past Flawless unless you use my method.

Second, my mistake. I thought you could. My friend and I both used the same method and he still wasn't able to upgrade past Flawless using just the enchanted items, while I was able to upgrade to Epic. I assumed I had progressed past 100 more than he had, turns out my Enchantment was just higher so I had a greater fortify percentage on my enchanted items.

ohhhh ok i see what you mean. and yea i thought you were talking about the daedric armor you can make, not the special items, my bad.

anyway, i just got off work so im about to go play :D

Also, even my Daedric weapons that I DID make (that were already Legendary) got upgraded another 20-30%. Try it, you'll be surprised.

lvl 4 khajiit, havnt been playing for long since i had to restart character.
EDIT: is it just me or do the whiterun guards say "i took an arrow in the knee" not "i took an arrow to the knee"

It varies. One day a white run guard said "away dovakeen,I see you once took the arrow to the knee as a kid" I was like " tha fuckk "

Working on more quests now. I have a hard time selling all my expensive shit. Fucking stores only have like 1k to take.

the solution is to save (after you drain the money), kill them, reload the save and then there stock will be refreshed.

If you're reloading a save prior to you killing them, wouldn't killing them have absolutely nothing to do with it?

I unlocked the perk that lets you invest in places and the one that lets you sell any item to anyone and then i invested in riverwood trader and now the guy carrys 12 grand at all times.
