I've worked in scooter shops for over two years now, and ride with over 30 good street riders that actually put a lot of pressure on their decks, and have seen maybe 2 or 3 break / banana over their existence (V2i's)
But no, your point is much more valid.

yea but they are probably clean, and i have seen people grind through districts real fast, they arent weak but there are way stronger decks eg. vertx (i am yet to see a broken deck) also would you see every one they broke, not necacarily

and those ethic parts look really light but not that strong, look really nice though

i think it will too, hope fully it will be heat treated etc. im worried that it will cost loads though and also that the parts still look spindly so they wont be the strongest but maybe the nicest to ride.

I don't think the parts will cost that much he's tryin to compete with district and in the untold story video he sais they'll be nice and cheap

i know this is a little different but proto said that the deck was supposed to be cheap and i dont think 200+ USD is really. i've seen the untold story vid and i dont think ethic will be that cheap, hopefully cheaper than addict though

The difference between Proto and Ethic is that Proto had already established themselves years prior, so it really didn't matter how expensive the deck was because they knew it would sell anyways. Not the case with a new, up and coming brand like Ethic. They still have to make their own place in the scooter industry, and that won't happen if they promise affordable parts and then pull a Proto.

That Ethic DTC video has made me really want their parts. They seem trust worthy and I like the look of their parts. I really like the look of the company and I cannot wait to see their parts.
