fitness test...

tomorrow at school we have a fitness test to see if were obese or not. we have to do things like push ups sit ups shoulder things lift things and other weird things. well my point is that i know im not obese because i weigh only 125 for age 14 and everyone else i know is like 135+ but im not good at sit ups and push ups and you have to do a certain amount of them to pass and if you fail you gotta retake the class... i think its really dumb and pointless anyone else have stuff like this at school?

Not good? WTF. It's all just pushing yourself to the limit. Do a ton no matter the pain man, be buff like bars. Push it man, no pain no gain right? It's like learning whips, you have to hit your ankles a ton to stop.

thats what i was gonna do. ive done around 40 push ups before but i was tired as shit after it and idk how im gonna be able to do all the other things after that theres like 10 other things you have to do just after the push ups one is run a mile..

Scott we had these at Independence like 4 times a year, just do your best it doesn't even matter. And there's a time limit usually.

we have it twice =/ i know i can do the push ups and sit ups and thats the main part so ill probably pass but theres tons of reallllllyyyyy fat people in our class and i feel bad for them and we have like an hour and a half i think for like all of it

For the mile, don't get attention to yourself, and walk the first two laps. A fast kid should be about even with you at the start of the 3rd. Chase them the whole last lap. I'm assuming you have a 1/4 mile track, which equals 4 laps. Did mine in 7:32 with this method. Didn't break a sweat. Situps, push yourself, should get at least 40-50 in a minute. Pushups just let yourself walk through the pain, get to at least 20, then go until you fall. Not fun but real easy.

Yeah.. i remeber i was riunning like a 9 minute mile.... and i told my self to find the fast kid and stick with him no matter what... i did and got a 7 flat... just try ur hardest... and yeah my school has these tests too except im athletic and all the stuff is no prob at all 4 me except for stretching... so now i have to go to this gay like rehad shit to work on flexabiliy cuz I cant even get close to tocuhing my foot... and my school said it was the worst flexibilty they have seen in years... I got -5 on the v sit and reach ;( lol

dude these things are jokes. the one i took my freshman year we ha to run/walk a mile in less than like 30 minutes and we had to do like 4 sit ups haha

i have to do all of this stuff 2 times a year. but i have to run either the mile or 1.6 every day that i have gym. which is every other day.

We did pushups/sit-ups to failure..
I got 100 pushups to drop.
And 300 situps, then got told to stop because there was no point anymore..
Its not that hard? I'm not a big build, never have and never will be.

lol dude im like 130 and im almost 19...

so you fail if you dont do it good enough? dude that is the biggest bullshiit i have ever heard. seriously. the only reason you should have to retake gym is if you dont participate in the stuff. not if you suck at it. thats like discrimination against obese people lol. but anyway pushups arent too hard im like 5'9 and 160 i can get like 35. just dont worry about the pain.

yea dude in the mile, don't be a pansy, run every single lap. i hate seeing people walking, thats not pushing yourself at all (except for the fat people).

in pushups again, just push yourself, breath, and try not to think about how much your arms hurt. i think i got 63 in a minute last year, and i weigh like 80some. situps is pretty easy too, once you get a rhythm you can go pretty long and not get tired. i personally use the butt-bounce method haha.

I prefer the smack my hands against the ground method more than butt-bouncing. I forget about the pain in my abs, and worry about my arms.
