Truth. Madd is a joke to some people... But why? Cuz they sponsor ryan williams, who does a lot of ridiculous flip combos? Or tyler bonner, one of the riders that I think has the best mix of street and park ever? Or maybe Capron, who is one of the nicest guys ever, and can throw his scooter around like its nothing?

uhmm no. i personally don't like any madd riders very much, but it's the company everybody is hating on. they make our sport move backwards by making stuff that's super gay and kiddy, and they are all in it for the money. i can understand that some people love their team, and i respect that, but the COMPANY maddgear, is in my opinion the worst thing to hit scootering ever.

Find one damn company that isn't doing something for the money, Find somewhere that makes something for 5 cents then sells it to people for 5 cents, you can't.
Also MADD Gear Riders aren't "sellouts" or "flyout whores" whoever says that is completely idiotic.
People would love to make money riding scooters and MADD offers that to their riders, which is why they pick to be on MADD, and there is no rider on MADD that riders straight flyout except Cody Niederberger on MGP NZ.

Gus should definitely not go to Madd. He should stay where he is and continue doing what he's been doing. He doesn't deserve a pro spot on Lucky because I doubt he even knows anyone on the pro team personally. He shouldn't go to Madd because it A). doesn't suit his most recent riding style, and B). could turn him in the wrong direction riding-wise.

i dislike maddgear and what they stand for, but i do believe that gus deserves a pro spot. the top riders on maddgear will be able to help him improve what he already has which could make him one of the most talented rider in the scene. just saying. agreeing with greg on this one and wished that another company could compete with a company like maddgear.

Hmm You have obviously not been in this sport for a very long time. Maddd gear changed the world of scooter riding with their uniquely designed deck. They didn't make it go backwards...

Their first stuff they made was original, but now it's gone too far. Pink kid scooters makes our sport go backwards forsure.

It's a damn color that isn't going to do anything, almost every damn scooter company out has Pink color options.
I suppose we should just get rid of MGP, Blunt, Sacrifice, Eaglesport and a couple others, because they have Pink scooter parts..
MGP has pushed the sport foward more than almost all these other companies out, They take their riders on out of country trips, Do many demos and host many competitions.

Hahahaha. Why doesn't everyone hate on razor as much as everyone hate on Madd Gear. They make scooters with chalk on the back and scooters that spark when ridden. I honestly don't see why MG gets so much hate when clearly it's one of the leading companies pushing the boundaries of scooter design and production. Just because it's not "rider owned" does not mean that company is in-superior to other companies. Madd Gear decks are without a doubt one of, if not the strongest deck on the market currently. I honestly don't get it.

I agree with this completely, honestly I guarentee if MADD offered ANY of you spots on thier team you would take it in a heart beat. But the only MADD team I hate is the UK team, they don't do much. I agree with derek though, I would much rather watch Joe or Tyler boost a bowl then watch someone huck themselves down stairsets. I've never even seen a MADD rider have flyout clips. They all shred 10x harder then half the people on this forum(no offense). But gus would be stupid not to take the spot in my opinion.
