ok just to start off i think that jesse might just be the best scooter rider on the face of the earth. but he is just takin it to far, i mean come on dub whipflip to bar, 360 bri whip this is just getting to crazy. its like when you watch his riding its like playing a tony hawk game, nothing is realistic. he is the best rider on the face of the earth, but i hate his riding. he is just to good. i would rather watch like a good street vid with a clean whip over like a 6 set and have the kids friends go like wild because he did something that he though was good. now that is just like a bunnyhop. i know we need this to put us into the x-games but come on, after a while there will be nothing left to do. tell me what you think.

Umm..no

Has dave Mirra taken it to far with his 360 flip tuck no handers? no

Has Ryan nyquist taken it to far with his 720 bars

has rooftop taken it to far with his 360 table over the great wall of china?? no!

Things get done, people reactions are always amazed at 1st..But u get over them, i assure you that Jesse along with many many outher riders will peform things that are going to shit all over those tricks!

nicely put phil

but yes as phil said there will be other people and tricks that will out-perform all of jesses tricks and everyone else's on the web site. he has been riding for quite a while and progresses pretty quickly and if u put your mind to it and dedicate yourself to the sport and have enough balls to try some of the things he does then someday you could be as good as him but not with that attitude. new tricks, combos, gaps, and lines are thought of everyday and is just part of progression and part of the sport. if riders wanted to progress until they were the best and then just stop because theyre the best what do you think would happen. they wouldnt be the best for long. it is all part of the sport and if you think that jesse should stop because he is who he is then maybe your the one who isnt what you should be. if you think that way then why dont u just quit riding.

EDIT: and yes tailwhips on scooters are definately easier than on bikes but does it matter no. all you do is make the trick harder like a triple tailwhip

I agree, kind of. Scooters are one of the easier sports to start up and just do basic stuff on. Other sports basic stuff like 180 is definately harder (besides inline). I think inline and scooters are a lot alike in the fact that they are 2 of the least respected sports because they seem easier to start, but that just means you can push the limits farther. I cant wait until more limits are broken by jesse or anyone else. You need to let progression take its place because its what is pushing the sport. Not only does scootering become more respected when doing bigger and better tricks on them, it inspires new riders to start up, and try to accomplish those tricks, as well as not-so-new riders who are looking for more challenge. Videos with insane stuff is like a reality check on how much better you could be, and it makes you think about how far you're willing to get there.

(that one was for travis, i tried taking his tips he gave me last night :))

i dont really agree with scootering being one of the easiest to start s8boarding is like as hard to learn as scootering i think but biking thats when scotering is something easy to sart out with every thing is way harder on a bike

It worked very, very well.

I agree with you Matt. Learning to 180, whip, barspin and feeble are easy tasks for alot of people starting out and when some random dude asks to ride your scooter everyone hopes he sucks but when everyone sees him do whips and stuff they think "ohh that sport is sooo easy, look, some random guy just did a tailwhip" But if they say that I say, "Cool, do a double" and that shuts them up quick.

The things people are doing now, shock riders like Silas Henderson, cause we showed him videos of recent riders and he was in awe... basically, we went from tailwhips on flat ground, to doing most of the stuff that bikers do, and I aggree completly with Phil and Eric, in about a year... we will probably see things done that seem hard to comprehend right now... I'm sure when Jordan Miller invented front scoots, he never thought a barspin or tailwhip could be comboed with it... just wait... I think in a year or two, just about every rider will have two trick combos standard for them and the best riders will be doing three trick airs. I just want to be around to see scootering progress further than it has... even if it never reaches global recognition, I want to see the tricks continue to increase in difficulty.

PS, thanks for your concern about "taking it too far" ... progression never stops... I'l reach an end eventually, but I dont plan on stopping now :) .. Minivid 4 in a few months.

i agree with everyone that has replied to this thread... progession NEVER stops, and never think it does.. you can always take the sport further there is never an ending... and yea scootering is easier, but that just means we can do more combos, making it just as hard as any other sport out there
