This. I live about 3 blocks from the beach. On Irene i could literally go outside my doorsteps and go swimming, This shit is supposedly going to be a ton worse. Im sure im fucked.

My towns setting up shelters at a school and church because theyre expecting the river to flood out half the neighborhood. My town NEVER does anything to prepare for anything like this. Ill admit, peoples reactions and the weather forecasters are getting me a little bit nervous. A bunch of forecasters have said they really dont know exactly whats gonna happen when sandy collides with the other "winter storm", because theyve never actually seen a storm like this happen.
