My school just got cancelled for tomorrow. My mom just went out and bought a behemoth of a generator that could power my whole house if we wire everything together on one power strip with extension cords and shit. This is gonna be great.

Guys, the government blew up the levee in New Orleans during Katrina so the lower 9th ward(poor area)would be flooded instead of the French Quarter(super old and touristy part of N.O.). At least that's what some people think.

got a liter of brandy, wifi tethering and my parents got a generator (how the fuck they pulled that off is a complete mindfuck to me but they did). im ready to ride this shit out :)

stance lover, 90mph winds and 8 feet of rain aint nuthing to fuck with. not much you can do aside hide in the tallest floor in your house. stash some food up there too just in case and have a way to get to the roof .

edit: lol it corrected my slang.

I'm not worried about flooding, because I live on top of a mountain. I am worried about these winds however, and I probably will get raped by them. I'm expecting to lose power for a long time. Especially after the ice storm last year, and being the last area with no power nine days later.

When is this shit supposed to hit? The anticipation is killing me.

@Anthony Out house is a bit more elavated then all the others and its on a tiny hill so my stepdad said that as soon as the water gets to his car's tire * If it were on the street it would be a little higher then the bottom of the door and he has a toyota tundra* then were getting out of here but my house should be fine other then the basement unless its like a fucking typhoon or sunami or some shit like that.
