They might as well make it legal, everyones going to keep doing it so its not gonna stop and jails will just keep getting more and more full.

Illogically, we should legalize murder because people are gonna keep doing it and jails will just keep filling up?

ya tabacco is a dryed plant but it has a bunch of other stuff thats added to it all weed is is a dryed up plant and nothing eles

i think it should be because whats the point people are gunna do it anyways so why make it harder
like for some people they ride better on it then not

Wether it's legal or illegal people are still going to find a way to get it, its easyer to get hen alcohol.
So it really doesn't matter if it's legal or not people and me are still gonna smoke it day in day out.

the children on this forum are too young to form their own opinions about what is right and wrong. they either do it because its "cool", or just assume that because it is illegal that there is a good reason for it. the whole reason that marijuana is illegal is for racist reasons anyways. if they were to legalize and tax it the revenue would be in the BILLIONS per year. i do agree with rob that it should be enjoyed safely at home or in other designated areas though. It is not a physically addictive drug like nicotine, cocaine, heroine, painkillers(xanex, vicodin, percoset)or alcohol, it does however carry a mental addiction, wich can be easily confused with a physicall addiction. It kills no brain cells all it does is esentially put them to sleep. If you abstain from smoking for around 6 mounths, to your body it will be like you never smoked in the first place.

I got myself banned.
I want it to stay illegal because I hate the smell and would probably punch someone if they smoked it near me.

If they could keep it in their own home/property fine, but not in public (like drinking)

I'll keep this open (disregarding the "About drugs" sticky..) but try to keep it a little tame in here
We'll there would obviously be some kind of laws to go along with the legalization. Similar to the "open container law" in the US. Read prop 19.

You legally can't walk down the street with an open beer... although there is situations where your not going to get in trouble for it such as tailgate parties and block parties. Walking around drinking a 6 pack is a good way to get a court date. I'm sure there would be smoke bars specifically for smoking pot, like hookah bars... especially in PA where smoking cigs is banned in all bars/resturants unless if food sales are under 20% of the establishes income and they want to allow smoking. Its not gonna become a pot free for all if it was legalized.

Pot is harmless. Its safer than alcohol which is legal. Wasting citizens tax dollars on locking up pot smokers/dealers is pointless.

Go take a drag on a joint, do it again tomorrow and then try to tell me it isn't addictive
As someone who has just stopped smoking a few weeks ago, its not. Mentally it can be, but you probably have some self control issues already if your going to let your self get mentally addicted to a non habit forming chemical. Getting addicted to pot is like getting addicted to a video game, its a mental thing.

Such a perfect analogy.

Super queer.
alchohal is WAY worse then cigs and weed.

I see what you mean Rob but Smoking weed yes its bad for your long but not NEARLY as bad as cigs, Cigs are more of a slow suicide and people do that all the time too. But when your high your not dumb like u are when your drunk. your actually in control.
