I don't know of one reason why it should be illegal
because it's already illegal.
I know it sounds stupid, but if this gets overruled, think of what next?
what other groups of people want something to be legalized?
like i said previously, i personally don't care either way, i just dont want it around me/people that don't do it.

I got myself banned.
Cigarette smoke sticks, its disgusting. Pot smoke doesn't linger like cigarette smoke does.
I can't stand people who have no respect when they smoke. They banned smoking on my campus except in the parking lots because smokers would smoke right outfront of the doors, like squads of them. You couldn't walk out of school without walking through a cloud. I usually walk away from the door and in the direction the wind is going so I'm not bothering anyone. Those tall cig ashtrays are always up in flames in the parking lots now since they banned smoking on campus.

thats EXACTLY why its a gateway drug. drug dealers dont sell only weed, they wanna make money. they make money from people trying new things, i know the only reason ive tried other things aside from weed is because of drug dealers convincing me to do it. do people that drink beer move onto heroin and meth? no because its legal and regulated and you cant get heroin and meth at a liquor store.

Agreed. It would raise the risk of cops driving by the park and seeing it go down and bust them for it and potentially shutting down the park because of that douche bag that just had to light up there.
I had a few friends that I would chill with regularly, but don't really anymore because I smoke pot. They try and say I'm lame and they don't need to smoke to have fun. They call me a drug addict and shit like that. Which is why I'm kind of glad I don't chill with them anymore. And whenever I'd chill with them all we'd do is sit inside watching movies or playing video games and occasionally come out and go to some fast food restaurant around town and sit there and just saying over and over again,"What do you wanna do?" But when I chill with my other friends I will either smoke, ride, or doing something other than sit inside and wonder what to do. And I'm the lame one? Nice haha.
Sooo true. I have so many good times with friends when I smoke, and when I meet someone, I won't just be like,"I smoke pot do you smoke pot!?!" If they ask me if I smoke pot I'll say yea but I'd rather get them to know me for who I am and not give them a chance to judge me for what I do.
Oh and btw I think weed should be legalized and regulated just like alcohol and cigarettes. If it was regulated, it would make it that much harder for under age people to get their hands on it. Also, the government could actually make money off of it, instead of throwing away millions of dollars into fighting the war against marijuana and putting people in jail that are solely there for weed offenses.

If marijuana was legalized it could become commercially produced like tobacco. Why do people smoke cigarettes? It calms them. Why do most people smoke weed? It makes them feel good. Why do depressed people take prozac/other depression medications? It makes them happier and less likely to commit suicide. Marijuana is the same thing but more. Hemp could jumpstart our economy. Of course there would be regulations just like drinking but the amount of jobs that could be created would make the economy boom. Just think. The glass industry would pick up. More growers. More dispensaries. More technological advances in smoking apparatuses(high tech vaporizers). Hemp paper. Marijuana coffee/tee/food. The possibilities are endless.

AND those growers and dispensary workers will also need places to do their business, which in turn may give companies such as construction workers who will need to build the dispensaries and more growing space (if used on new land thats not inhabited by a building already), window installing companies, air ventilation companies, flooring, electricians, plumbers, realtors, lawyers. It just opens the door for people who are already in their line of business with more clients to work with and such.
And not only were we made to smoke weed, but we were made to eat it tooo.

nehh. i dont think it should be legalized because while people dont die from it, they still do stupid shit. i know ppl who have gotten high off marijuana and the jumped out of windows and stuff. no matter hwat, it is still a psychoactive drug and that means it affects the state of your mind. and while it is positive for some people it may be negative for others. and IMO i wouldnt trust any drug dealers to have clean mrijuana. they probably contaminate it to set theirs apart from another dealers. js
