milled out headtube?

what do you think about this? and before you decide on strength i only milled out where there was no "stress points"( which would be like the sides of it where there is stress when ur land)

i have yet to feel a lighter headtube than mine. my old A deck use to be like that too milled out the center ( of the deck that is). and the rails ontop of the mech i cut off ( so it looked like a B model mech) but fortuantly it broke.. not where i milled it out, it broke at the welds on the mech trying flips over a box. i wish i had pics of my old one i loved that thing so much hard work into it.. yet at the same time it was fun making.

I own SR.
I used to drill my brake lever out similar to that and always thought of doing the same thing to the headtube only a series of round holes... not one giant square but cool concept.

haha looks sik my friend donga who rides bike has something lik that and when u spin it and stuff u see porno pics lol haha

Wow, I was about to talk about the Grim Reaper but then at the end of your post you wrote about it. Are you going to come out with a titanium one next?

In case you can't tell, that's sarcasm. I think that this is completely unnecesary, maybe on a bike because they're actually heavy but a scooter is so light anyway that it doesn't really matter. Plus I care a lot more about weight in the back then weight in the front, but maybe if you do scooterflips and stuff the weight in the front can act upon your tricks.

I just weighed my scooter and it's 7.3 pounds, and unless you have deck reinforcement or a custom deck, it won't be much heavier than that.

Im riding a 17lbs scooter without a problem, and you have just cut out a tiny piece of aluminium to have a lighter scooter? Sounds weird.

I think he did it mainly for the look, or atleast his first one that he didn't post looked really sick. It was a milled out skinny-lemon looking hole.

yea guys its not for the weight..haha.. i just try and bring some style to scooters.. so kids might think a scootering can be just as cool looking as they are to ride

Sorry if I sounded like dick there, I think it's cool looking and stuff, it's good to know you're not doing that for the weight. I think it'd be better to do something more along the lines of the Grim Reaper headtube though, with multiple lines, or the Stolen (I think?) frames have an "S" cut in them like that, that'd be really sweet.

naa i dont care about peoples oppinions think what u want.
o yea i forget what frame it is but the new easterds actually have the eastern logo cut out of the frame it looks so sweet. and about any other shapes its gonna have to stay basic because i dont actually have a miller.. all i have is a drill press and files.. haha its hard enough to drill series of holes in it then file it out smoothly like i did in that one. :D

that owns but it looks little ugly, i like more when there is "lines" .. my friend has with lines ( same as yours allen but not whole piece of metal is cutted out, just 3-4 lines and he has crazy colors on his fork, it looks so cool tho hes style freak, hes bike costs like over 1500Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?¬ ( he got pretty good job. ), and its flatland. it weights pretty not much.. i think pete scooter weights more :D , but wtf are you doing lol? is that skateboard wheel ?

eh, i guess a daily cleanout couldn't hurt. actually, the cups might cover or protect them from shiite flying around in there.
