all an embryo is after a few days is about 4-20 cells, at around 5-7 days it's a few hundred. At that early of a stage it might as well be a patch of skin cells grown inside you. I don't see any problem with getting rid of that, especially if it has the potential to destroy your life. SammyT could still grow up and have children in the future. He's not completely shunning procreation by getting an abortion.

I believe after a certain time abortion is wrong, but if were talking 1 - 2 weeks I dont think it should even be labelled an 'abortion'
If he doesnt want to keep the child and him and his girlfriend both make an educated decision to terminate the pregnancy then theres no need for hate.
You gotta think for the baby as well, people say it will affect the life of the parents having the baby but think of the child itself. When having a child (most) people want and strive to give their child the best possible start in life. At the age of 16 (most) people dont have the adequate maturity, life skills, experience, finances and resources to raise a child. And I'm not saying this is the case with SammyT or his girlfriend but generally it is. If its possible to intervene now why not do it? Think of it not as robbing a potential life but more postponing it.
