not sure what you're asking, but the bars are HIC, which means they are 1 3/8 diameter whereas standard bars are 1 1/4. the shim will be sold with the bars, so all you'll need is a threadless headset and threadless fork.

is the HIC shim just a piece of Standard steel tubing with a slit? or is it aluminum?
