I got the scooter. it feels amazing. I swapped out the bars but it shouldn't bother my review too much?

can't wait to throw down :)

I might change out the brake. It's rubbing against the wheel :/

Your bars are quite...colorful.

Noted on the brake. It's switching to something else for production regardless but that's the first we've heard of one rubbing. Noticed you took off all the stickers too. ;)

Wheel hardness is TBD. But likely around 86-88a high rebound. The one's Rob had are softer with a lot of urethane but we have not been that impressed with these prototypes.

If you ask riders that have had the previous 100mm wheels we're sure they can attest that they were much better.

They're LOADS soft. I think they're going to be amazing.

Sorry about the stickers lol. I hate stickers on my scooters.

i might swap out the brake entirely :(

and my wheels.. the bearings fall right out. not sure if intentional or not but im not complaining haha.

my other scooter is raw, so this one should be colorful haha

DEFINITELY not oem wheels, these are much much too soft to be 88a

Too soft we think for most riders. No problem about the stickers- just an observation. :)

Go ahead and swap out the brake if you need to. It's changing regardless.

Hand built cores right now so tolerances are a bit off. Did you switch bearings? All the ABEC 9's fit in the core tightly on the ones we tested here.

The ones you have are high rebound and about 84-85a when we measured a set here. Like we mentioned a bit TOO soft but also due to the fact that we went with smaller cores and more urethane as opposed to the other way around.

But- if you're looking for grip... ;)

im waondering win this scoot is comin out it should go threadless though with hic bars

Soon enough. Will post final specs for this version of our performance series within a week.

HAH. The wheels squish under normal riding, this is going to be unique.
I swapped out the brake and got different axles to solve the tolerance issue - i can crank them down much more with a socket wrench than an allen key :)

if possible i'm going to try to make a review at shields park ASAP.

OH yea lol. First wheels would chunk from normal riding lol. This 2nd batch had the potential to be really good, there was absolutely NO chunking at all (and they start to look pretty good when they are worn down), but they were just way too soft and that led to a bunch of issues. I'm completely stoked for the new batch though, I'm pretty sure fixing the hardness is going to bump these wheels up a HUGE amount quality wise.

The more Darren and I talk about it, and the closer we come to finishing this scooter, the more excited I get. I can't say anything now, but when you all see the final specs list (and the price) you're going to be blown away. I know we'll still have our haters, but I hope they at least try our scooter out, I think they'll be pleasantly surprised. :)

Let's call these our "comfort" wheel batch. ;)

Good to know about the axles and we'll make note.

We'll all keep our fingers crossed.

Holy shit this looks legit! Well done Fusion I am very impressed. I don't think the wheels would be too much of a problem. After all some Yaks are 78a. The fork looks very nice and like it will hold up well.

I hope you don't mind me possibly recommending a Spring Steel Flexfender, like the TSI brake. I just find that the Flexfender combined with fully tightened parts makes for one of the nicest sounding and feeling scooters possible.

Also I'm going to have to agree with the others and suggest a look into threadless forks with HIC. Threadless forks are a lot stronger than their threaded counterparts, and having HIC keeps the headset tight for ages. Also a lot easier to install.

Two questions:

- What width are the bars?
- What width is the deck?

Looks very nice though Fusion keep it up.

We'll confirm specs within the next week for the first release but as mentioned in the past couple of pages forks will be threadless with a compression system. We've been looking at the flex fender style brakes as it was something our testers mentioned and we definitely have a solution for that. We will not be using a coil spring set up.

Bars will most likely be 18"x22" and deck is 20.5"x4.25". Again we'll confirm final specs in a few days.

this is supposed to be comparable to a RUP.
....
It far surpasses so far. I'm not good at high headtube angle scoots but i managed a double flat haha.

waiting to get to a skatepark to really annihilate this thing.

Little typo there, deck will be 20.5 x 4.25 ;)

Still riding my scooter, I love it more and more each time I ride. It is literally the perfect length, width, weight, and headtube angle. Its super good for grinding too. I can't wait for the harder wheels to come!

HTA is a bit weird for me, coming from a mellow old A.
but it's much much better than razor ultra pros, and this isn't even the final version lol
