having a dialed scooter, i know it keeps it more solid, etc but is it really neccesary? all these kids nowadays, all they focus on is having the best parts or just being "dialed" lol they don't care about persistence and building up their skill. so i am asking you, the people of sr, is having a "dialed" scooter important as a rider? :p

I have a friend who bought a blunt complete in february, it's dialled as fuck. He stripped one of the bolts, and now another kid has a more dialled mgp ninja. So in like two weeks he's getting a complete new set up including a revention, suicides, tilt forks/scs, and grippers. Overall, it's gonna be worth £800, and both of the kids mentioned can barely tailwhip.

As long as nothing feels loose and my bars are straight, I could care less. Nothing feels worse than a loose axle and landing. You can feel your wheel makes a different impact and noise.

That just makes me angry...

I think more kids should care about having a solid sounding scooter instead of annoying the fuck out of everyone else with the scooters that literally sound like a metal bucket filled with bolts, but then too many kids are taking the easy way out and just buying an entire expensive new scooter instead of getting their current scooters dialled which is completely unnecessary. Actually i think it would be much better if the kids just quit scooters in general and went and ruined another sport.

i agree. i hate when i let kids ride my scooter and their like "wtf its so solid" and i cant even ride theirs because the wheels are loose, bars are crooked and it feels like absolute shit to ride, then they just wanna buy a new scooter when all theirs needs is maintenance. also i hate when kids have popped bearings and they dont get new ones or maintain their current ones to stop them from squeaking.

Having said what I did earlier though, nothing feels better than coming away from firing new parts with a fresh, dialled and perfect ride :)

I hate kids like this soo much! I like a dialed scooter, but I hate when all kids care about is who's scooter is more dialed.

Kid: " can you dial my scooter?"
Me: "Sure, what's wrong with it?
Kid: "Nothing"
Me: "huh?, then why do you need it dialed"
Kid: "yeah but can you dial my scooter?"
Me: " WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?!!"
Kid: "Nothing"
Me: "beat it kid!"

Its not a big deal haha. When I first started riding a few months ago all I had was a razor kick scooter with ultra pro low bars and a stock threaded headset. So as long as its more dialed then that, I'm good. lol

My front wheel is on a bent and stripped axle that i cannot remove, tighten, or loosen. My back axle comes loose all the time (<3 addict), my bars are crooked because its too much effort to undo my scs to straighten them, and something is stuck in my bars. My ride sure as shit isn't dialed, but I love it to death and don't plan on changing anything in the near future.
