I need my scooter dialed so i can ride well. If its not i can like barely quad.... Let alone doing the flippy whippy shit i do. But its unnessasry for LITTLE KIDS to buy a whole new setup even though there is nothing wrong with theirs...

i prefer having my scooter dialed but things never go my way haha. i can have my scooter dialed for maybe an hour until it starts making some annoying noise so i kinda gave up on it. as long as it rides and nothing is toooo lose. ill be fine haha

I rode for a year and a half on a wobbly threaded compression on my rup. I learned almost all of the basic tricks on that rattley son of a bitch. Now, I would prefer to have a dialed scooter, but it makes me angry to see kids with 600 dollar scooters their parents bought them who can't tailwhip. I learned how to whip on a broken a model, it won't help them to have a shiny purple phoenix complete.

dialed scooter = longer lifespan for parts. just like anything else in life, a little maintenece can go a long way

i dont really care about a loose brake but i try to keep the headset, clamp and wheels tight at all times

I have a friend who bought a blunt complete in february, it's dialled as fuck. He stripped one of the bolts, and now another kid has a more dialled mgp ninja. So in like two weeks he's getting a complete new set up including a revention, suicides, tilt forks/scs, and grippers. Overall, it's gonna be worth £800, and both of the kids mentioned can barely tailwhip.

Fuck spoiled brats

I have my scooter dialed because to me if feels better..... If my scooter is undialed, its just feels weird to me. But I hate when people tighten everything up so you cant spin or move the scooter......

Having a dialed scoot, Keeps my mind calm when riding if everything is loose, Mainly my headset or axles, it's makes me concerned about breaking parts more then actually riding.

i just tighten my back axels because if i dont my blunt flexy creaks everytime i step on the deck and i like my headset tight so it normally just ends up being dialed even though i dont really care, if there is a noise i dont go out of my way to hunt it down

i like it when my scooter is dialed, but then i cant do anything because my headset will be too tight. in other words, i prefer to ride a scooter that actually feels good to ride rather than one that sounds cool.
also, i absolutely hate those spoiled ass kids that have legit setups, but cant even barspin, tailwhip, 180, etc.

If you know what you're doing and take care of your bearings, wheels, axles, stuff like that, you can have a perfectly solid dialed scooter that doesn't rattle, but spins great. My scooter sounds more dialed than a basketball, but everything is super tight. Grease in bearings, clean them regularly, correct axles and spacers...just all these little impatient kids are too desperate and don't understand that you can't use a top race underneath your headset and expect it to last. Take care of your stuff no matter what you have and you can get it decently dialed as well as riding good

This is so true, people complain that when they tighten everything to get their scooter dialed nothing spins well, when if you actually know what your doing and for example if you use the correct sized bearing spacers in your wheels you can tighten your axle completely and the wheel will still spin fine and will not make a noise, as compared to if you use a spacer too small and your when you tighten your wheel to much pressure is put on the bearings and it wont spin and if loosened your spacer will rattle around inside your wheel or if you use a spacer to big when you tighten you wheel no pressure will be put on your bearings at all when you tighten it and your wheel will always be slightly loose and rattly. And with a headset all you need to do is tighten it to the right amount so it doesn't have any play and it still spins.

Ha aha ha^ I honestly don't care, if it's tight and parts won't fall off then i'm fine.

yea same here. like my friend put sunflower seeds in my proto retros bars a week ago(like through the proto star hole) and i still have them in cause nothings loose

My scooter isn't the best parts let alone a lot of money for the thing but when I put it all together using ics, it is really solid. Idk why or even how but I just tighten everything and tighten my ics bolt twice a month and it's perfect for me. Everytime I land a trick you can barely hear it hit the ground, that's the only down side.

it is essential to keep your scooter dialed in, your parts will last waaay longer. kids take it too far, but its good that they learn how to fix their own scooters. i tune my scooter almost every day before i ride. its just better that way.

Im probably the only person that prefers their scooter to be undialed. My scooter just feels better when everything spins effortlessly
