Cant say you need to be very large to have a deck that is 2 inches longer and .5 inches wider.

Todays decks are small...

Well thats pretty tall compared to all the scooter kids I've ever seen haha I bet the average is about 5'3".

Deck size preference is primarily determined by riding style & foot placement. To a ski rider the deck length is irrelevant and the width is the big concern whereas length is the big concern for flowy/vert oriented riders (such as smirnoff). Your shoe size will influence that, but it is determined that (biologically) your height and foot size genes , although commonly associated with each other, are unrelated. The one thing that your height may effect would be preference in bar size, although that varies significantly from rider to rider as well.

TL;DR : Your size has little to no relation to your deck preference.

If your taller and hunch over, your feet will naturally be farther out. So you either need taller bars, or a longer deck to compensate to be more comfortable. Although I agree, it gets down to preference. It seems that a lot of people prefer bigger decks.

I'm 5'8" , size 12.
I ride the flight 19 (19 x 4.75)

So yes, deck size is just your style, but also just getting used to it. I rode a 21 x 5 tsi for the last 5 months and i just needed a few hours to get used to this one.

Same as any other HIC works...there's just 4 slits instead of 2 for soopa clamping powa. And the top cap is integrated into the shim.
