play in bearings?

hi i have bones swiss bearings that i have been using on my scooter for a few years now. everytime that i switch wheels i clean them out in alcohol and then relube them with bones speed cream. anyways i think the bearings have somehow developed play in them because when i hold the inner part where the axel goes through with one hand and then the outer part that goes into the core of the wheel with the other i can sort of feel play between then two. then when i press them into my wheel and put it on my scooter the wheels almost seems like it is loose allthough the axel is tight and the core is not ovalised so it makes me thing that it must be the bearings. has anybody else ever had this happen to their bearings and is there any way to fix this? i just really dont feel like buying new ones since these ones were so expensive and still spin just fine...

haha well i like to ride bowls and go really fast and high so i like to have good bearings and they arent really that cheap. a pack of bones swiss is about 80$ so thats like 10$ per bearing. oah well looks like it isnt just me this is happenning to so i guess i will buy some new ones.

If you can, get modus black speed bearings.
They are 20 bucks Aus for 8, and they are strong nearly never rust and have removable rubber shields. You can clean them and re-lube them, then put em in your wheels and they are so strong and smooth, and fucking fast. You can clean and relube without taking them out of your wheels too.

They are but they aren't, they are made to the same quality as bones swiss, but the reason they are so cheap is because bones make them in china. They said they wanted something of the same quality that they could sell for cheaper

bones are really good bearings

they are dirt cheap and last a long time. they arent as good as swiss or ceramics, but those two shouldnt be put in scooter wheels because ceramic breaks under impact.

alright i really didnt intend this thread to be about what are the best bearings or anything and if it is gonna end up like that then you might aswell just lock it right now rup.

what i was more or less wondering was if anyone else has experienced their bearings having play in them that causes the wheel to seem loose and rattle like a mothafucka. also if there are any bearings that are less susceptible to this or anyone who hasnt had it happen to their bearings...

I had that problem cause my wheels are ovalised, but you just fix it with tape. Are you sure that your wheels aren't ovalised?
