Ranting time................
These two subject come up VERY often and when I mean VERY I mean like almost EVERY SINGLE DAY!
It seems that people are not wanting to invest into some products that are worth the money so instead they
bicker and bittch about the PRICE &/OR WEIGHT. It's like its the end of the world or somthing??
Price Issues:
Seriously scooter products aren't that expensive and actually the prices have come down a bit in the past
4-5 months. Not on every single product, but overall all. The owners of a company are in it to help out riders, but
also to make profit, its just business. Its a we win, they win situation. The more we buy, the more they sell. The more
riders helped, the more money coming in. Catch my drift? Its not like companies are ripping us off. Just think about the
materials cost & labor "fees". Dare I say it but, every aftermarket product is what its worth. Just people, can you please
stop with whining and stupid statements like "Not worth it" remarks. Here is an example;
Today the PROTO "Half Knuckles" were in the SR shop and one of the first things people said was "WTF, $30????".
This seriously blows my mind. Its worth EVERY PENNY! UGHH, stupid people.
Also, another theory of mine is, if you don't like then don't buy it.
Weight Issues:
As far as I know the human body can grow muscles over time? If so, then when you carry something for a long
period of time you get use to it and the muscles grow and you become stronger. If you have a 12 pound scooter and
you ride it for like a month then you get use to it. It seems like people are getting lazy or need something to bitch about
or are not strong enough for some aftermarket parts. People always complain about parts being "too heavy". Well your "too weak".
Its not like companies set out to make the heaviest part? They try their best to make the strongest/lightest products they can.
Just cut these companies some slack and be happy they are actually making parts because bitching about something weighing too much
doesn't get you that far.
This rant goes to show that people are taking advantage of what they have. You should be happy about and supportive for what
great companies we have in this sport. I think we need to take the time and appreciate every company and their dedication.
Its hard enough to own a company and make parts but then to hear the people your making parts for bitch about what you just
made?? Instead of putting a product down tell them how good the product was but also how giving them advice and opinions in
a mature/nice manner. Discuss................
