PROTO Orion combo

Alex, your setup is super sick! I have strikers, run super smooth! Is the brake lie a slide in? I think the deck is worth the money! Cant wait to get the chance to ride one

The whole design is to complicated

And by complicated I hope you mean smart. Everybody who says it's too complicated for them need to actually think about what they are buying when they go and buy one of those welded up decks that are popping up all over the scooter scene. This is the only deck design that makes any sense to me.

I'll give my look at this whole matter.
The deck has been in the making ages, so I don't think Andrew will have missed many flaws (or any for that matter).
If it does cost you $250, well just think that your paying $250 for a lifetime deck rather then paying $250 for a lifetime of DECKS.
Sure the headtube may be $180 but lifetime warranty means you won't have to buy another one if you do so happen to some how break it. and the deck is only $70 dollars. better then buying a Phoenix again, right?
And the headtube has to be milled down from a giant piece of alu while luckys is/might be a hell of a lot smaller of a block.
I don't think andrew would make you pay more then you have to, so your paying for what you get. and that is a high quality deck.
Once people start buying them and more people are interested the price will drop, maybe not significantly but it will.

once the price drops maybe, but for now id rather ride a pro deck. lol but i thought that luckys and ambushs were weird until i rode them for a while, and i dont know about the rest of you but im going to listen to Alex cause im pretty sure he knows what hes talking about more than any of us. haha

Riley, as WAXSD has said(Which was a very legit point, cheers) is that it will probably only drop around 20-30 dollars, little kids here will probably expect a 100$ price drop so I just thought I'd clear that up

the deck is great the bottom of the deck is so wide and really stable on grinds and the deck is surprisingly extremely light. the only things i didn't like about it is that head tube comes pretty far back on the deck giving you less deck space. i would definitely buy one but not until the price drops.

invalid point? what point was i making? i said one thing, then said it might not happen, but i was throwing out random thoughts. where was a point put in there anywhere?

You were saying that Andrew does not want anyone to use his designs, and I said that was wrong. That was your point and my counterpoint.

I'm getting a 4.5 one when they're back in stock. Promise.

and yeah, 85 is REALLY steep. I custom drilled one of my headtubes on one of my bolted razor decks to probably almost 90 degrees and my balance point for nose tricks was literally less than an inch off the ground.

Is there any way at all to mount a REAL brake, not a stupid strip of metal?? I can't stand flex fenders, but .. kinda considering the deck.
