As I understand from the conversation you're referring to at the PROTO shop, you were talking to Brian and Andrew about Rob and Brock. Andrew, being busy, said something along the lines of "Dustin, you're a moderator, make a thread and talk to them. You don't need me to talk to them for you."
Just to clarify, Dustin, I told you last night that if you felt someone was at fault for something then you can discuss it with them in the admin section since you are a mod too. That is also all I recall saying on the topic.
That was what he said a few days ago or whatever. I've been on the phone with him soo much recently discussing SR.
With all that said, I'm not going to declare a "winner." In my opinion, it shouldn't matter who we hate on. The choice of words is key though. Same type of thing as always, constructive criticism. If Rob or Dustin is running around the forums "Kota sports sucks" or "Lucky is a shit company," obviously, there is a problem. If Rob makes a post and says something along the lines of "I don't like lucky decks because of the bottom design," or "So far I've had nothing but bad luck with Kota Sports, I didn't get my stuff shipped and it's been 3 weeks."
I know neither of those is really constructive, but it's not hating. It's true, as mods/admins we need to watch what we say a little more than the average user. Everyone should start by trying to use better grammar/punctuation when possible. It's something small that usually makes a big difference. Nowhere in a moderation contract does it say that we have to be nice to every company. Sure, blatant disrespect and hating is NOT ok; but if you've got a problem with a company, being a moderator shouldn't stop you from expressing those feelings.
Like I said, I'm not declaring a "winner." I'm not in a position to do so, this isn't my site. I would agree more with Rob, but I'm definitely somewhere in between. Dustin is right when he says mods/admins need to watch what they say... I just think he wants to censor a bit too much.
